Pacific Coast pulled the sub-flooring and damaged insulation, replaced it all, put in floor tile, painted and installed sink & tub faucets and toilets. Omar and crew did an excellent job with our home remodeling project. We met with several contractors before selecting Pacific Coast General Construction and it was the BEST decision. The team also showed great care with each project, arrived on time, performed quality work and cleaned up each day. We did a kitchen remodel, refaced our fireplace, updated the living and family rooms, added recessed lighting and painted the entire house. It was a BIG project, but we could not be happier. From Day one, which was over 3 years ago, Omar and his team has more than delivered on promises. Omar will meet with you privately, go over your requests and provide a full scope of work with pricing and timing. Whether it was providing structural support to patio cover or refurbishing a laundry room or installing double doors for interior closets, Omar is the only guy I go to. We really like his team of "Can do it" guys. We have a 1924 Craftsman bungalow and his team's results keep our home in top order. If you need to make some changes during the work, he is flexible. I think by now, you get my drift.

We employed Pacific Coast General Construction (PCGC) for a pretty complicated kitchen remodel. We moved windows, changed the layout of the kitchen and installed new doors. His initial meeting to gather information for the quote basically sold us on going with him. Omar is very conscientious, listens well and thinks about his answer before replying to any question. His work was methodical, well thought out, and detail oriented. We were not wrong. They finished on-time and on budget. We had an issue with the delivery of a couple of our cabinets (ordered by us, so no issue with PCGC) and Omar and crew worked with us to regain the timeline. He is super professional and was a pleasure to work with. As for the crew, I can't say enough about them. They were extremely competent and good at their jobs. Plus, just a nice group of people. Now I just want to see what they can do with the rest of our house!

I've used Omar on two jobs now, and he's as good as they get. Compared to all the other contractors, HVAC guys, roofing guys, electricians, and plumbers I've ever had, no one compares to Omar in terms of four things in particular: (1) honesty, (2) cost, (3) clarity of the work and what was needed, (4) communication. His communication skills are excellent and he provided a VERY detailed, outlined, and itemized-by-cost estimate that not only did he stick to, but he actually was able to reduce the cost of some things as we went along. The work was done well, it was done quickly, and there were no surprises or mistakes. He even participated in the design process, helping to reduce cost and complexity while still maintaining the goal of getting quality material (countertops, appliances, and cabinetry). It's been 3 years since the larger kitchen project and everything still looks and works great. I'll be using him again the next time I have a big project.
